This is Geoff Laurence, who is excited by cakes,
jellies and watching people eat. His painting (called Melts In Your
Mouth—Not In Your Hand) is one of ten in a series of vivid cake portraits
with equally edible-looking frames. Caloried erotica is what it is.
Geoff was inspired by "the whole tea-room saga": from first sighting
the cakes through to the devouring climax and the post trstesse
when they're finished. There's even a conflict of guilt involved.
It's just that cakes cause spots . . .
