Mr. Laurence,
I am using your piece, "Collateral Damage", Art Appreciation and Human Development, at Arizona State University. The project consists of four separate assignments, with each assignment combined in order to give a presentation to a group of students that I would be teaching to. I need some more information pertaining to your work on this piece. Your feed back would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Michael B. Karpinski Junior @ Arizona State University

Hello O master of rage and beauty--we think of you each time we see the boys (as we call 'em when we feel briefly comfy with the power vested within those borders). That means daily and often. So glad you've moved on from the Screwallem and are set up still in SF. Best to LB and so sorry to miss our visit this winter--things are tight.
I note that ISWASWILLBE continues without red dot or permanent placement. How can this be? Yours, and may the arts live on in the new age of madness, Stephen and Elaine |

Your work at the Douglass Udell Gallery in Vancouver was great to see. I'm about to start my own series of paintings for a show I'm having at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery in Northern Ontario and found your work inspiring - decided to work very large. I'm off to Seattle and will stop in to the Frye Gallery - one of my favourites - where I first saw Odd Nerdrum's work. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

As I look at the pictures and read the clips of "some" of the pain and torture these people had to go through my heart cries out for them and all of those who are related.

Your drawings and paintings are very realistic and very unique I really liked the ones about the military men because my brother was in Iraq and it brought back memories.

Geoffrey, your story is touching and so beautifully sad. You are truly allowing the souls of your ancestors to speak their piece or let themselves be seen. You are the most incredible artist I have ever seen. I wish I could take your class. I was truly moved by your site today, which I came across by accident.(or not). Karen Scott

Your website is superb. You referred me to the "recommended reading" section for a Christmas present for my artist partner and I am proud to say I went a little wild..... Books and bodies are my art form, but viewing your website has made me hunger for paper and pencil!! ( Sssshhhhh!! : Any classes for aspirant doodlers?!)

good morning...
i very much enjoyed meeting you and viewing your work. such a reflection of both technical skill, intellectual awareness, pragmatism, emotional intelligence and sensitivity, spiritual depth, and generosity... it's this calibre that i admire and to which i aspire. i hope that we meet again soon and continue our conversation. best, carol |
